FleetGuru.ai Founder and Managing Director Eden Shirley will deliver a keynote address at the Fleet APAC Summit 2026, taking place June 9-10 at the Siam Kempinski Hotel in Bangkok.

The session, titled Fleet Is the Universal Language. AI Is The Translator, is a 45-minute live demonstration designed to confront the single biggest operational challenge facing APAC fleet markets: the absence of digitisation.

This isn’t your standard keynote. Minimal slides. No theory. Just Eden and Mic, FleetGuru’s AI Maintenance Copilot, on stage demonstrating in real time how fleet maintenance can be simplified.

The Problem It's Built to Solve

Across the Asia-Pacific, fleet maintenance still runs on phone calls and fax. Approval requests travel through call handlers, get transcribed manually into disconnected systems, and cross language barriers that add delay and error at every step. It is one of the most operationally expensive inefficiencies in the industry and one of the least talked about.

"APAC fleet managers are no longer asking 'what's possible', they're asking 'what works'," says Eden Shirley. "We're coming to Bangkok to answer that question directly."

Meet Mic

The centrepiece of the keynote is Mic, FleetGuru's AI Maintenance Copilot. Trained on over 15 years of fleet data, $1.6 billion in repair transactions, and billions of data points, Mic is not a concept or a prototype. It is a live, working AI Service Agent that answers inbound maintenance approval calls, conducts the conversation in the repairer's language, and converts unstructured voice interactions into structured digital work orders, ready for a controller to review and approve.

On stage in Bangkok, Eden will demonstrate this live across multiple APAC markets simultaneously. Guests will speak to Mic in English, Japanese, and Hindi. Each time, Mic will respond in the caller's language, capture the full context of the request, and produce a structured English-language work order on screen, in seconds.

The message is direct: language is no longer a barrier. Geography is no longer a constraint.

What the Audience Will See

The keynote unfolds across three acts:

  • The Service Agent - The live multilingual demonstration. Three languages. Three conversations. Three work orders, structured and on screen, in real time.
  • The Insights Agent - Eden queries Mic live against a real fleet portfolio: vehicles due for service, lease-end proximity, predictive cost modelling by make and model. This is what an always-on AI intelligence layer looks like in practice.
  • The Global Vision - Eden steps back from the demo and speaks directly to where the industry is heading: AI Maintenance Copilots deployed across APAC and Europe, fleet managers as orchestrators, and a maintenance network that operates without borders.

Why It Matters

FleetGuru.ai was built on 15 years of fleet and automotive data from the AutoGuru and FleetGuru platforms. The intelligence behind Mic is not borrowed from a general-purpose AI model, it is domain-specific, trained on the real economics of fleet maintenance at scale.

For fleet operators in non-English-speaking markets, the implications are significant. What currently requires a call handler, a data entry operator, and a follow-up call can be handled by a single AI agent, accurately, instantly, in any language.

Eden Shirley presents "The language of fleet is universal. AI is the translator on June 10 at the Fleet APAC Summit 2026, Bangkok. The FleetGuru.ai team, including Barry Pryce (Tech Co Founder), Jared Campbell (Chief Commercial Officer), Kota Tsuda (General Manager - Japan), and Mike Nedelko (Chief AI Product Officer), will be on the ground throughout the event.
