We are thrilled to announce that Eden Shirley, Founder and Managing Director of AutoGuru and FleetGuru, has been selected as a keynote speaker for the 2026 Australasian Fleet Education & Leadership Summit.

Hosted by the Australasian Fleet Management Association (AfMA) at the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse in Sydney from May 19-20, 2026, this year’s summit is built around the theme “Powered by Connection” - bringing together industry leaders, technology innovators, and fleet professionals to explore the future of mobility and operations.

Eden’s keynote is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about, combining live AI with a storytelling style that brings the future into sharp focus.

"We're not showing a product demo, we're showing a glimpse of the future of work." - Eden Shirley.

From Generative to Agentic AI

Eden’s keynote dives into the next chapter of AI. Not just tools that generate content, but systems that actually get things done.

He’ll explore the shift from generative AI to agentic AI, where the mindset is simple: humans set the direction, AI executes. It’s less about replacement and more about reinforcement, with AI stepping in as a capable teammate that frees fleet managers up to focus on higher-value work.

"Fleet managers are time-poor and data-rich. AI is the bridge between those two realities," says Eden.

A Glimpse into the Future of Fleet

At the centre of Eden’s keynote is a real-time conversation with Mic, FleetGuru’s AI Maintenance Copilot. Mic is a highly trained digital operator, purposefully built to help manage the complexities of vehicle maintenance and designed to work alongside teams, not instead of them.

Mic isn't a chatbot. He knows fleet maintenance the way a seasoned mechanic knows engines." - Eden Shirley.

Attendees will witness a live dialogue between Eden and Mic that pushes the boundaries of what is possible today. Here’s a taste of what attendees can expect from the keynote:

  • A clearer understanding of how AI can support daily operations
  • Practical ideas for integrating AI into existing workflows
  • A realistic perspective on how technology may shape the future of fleet management

Join us at the Summit

The AfMA Summit is the region’s leading event for fleet professionals, bringing together over 50 speakers and 70 exhibitors. Eden’s 30-minute keynote is set to challenge how we think about AI, not as a distant concept, but as something practical and usable to reshape the way fleets operate.

"AI is no longer just a tool, it is becoming an essential coworker that reshapes how organisations create value", Eden Shirley.

If you’re curious about where fleet technology is heading next, The Fleet Manager and the AI Coworker Keynote on Tuesday, May 19th at 10:10amis one you won’t want to miss. The keynote is proudly sponsored by Summit Fleet Leasing and Management.
